How to Hire the Best HVAC Installation Experts
The expectation of individuals are met through a three step process. The use of HVAC system is to control the temperature, control moisture and filter the air also. HVAC is the complete system of heating, ventilation and air conditioning. An air conditioner contains the following items in order for it to work which they include a compressor, condenser, an evaporator coil, and a fan. Absorption of heat from the air is transferred to the refrigerant which is then pumped to the outdoor segment. Vents, thermostat, furnace, heat exchanger, evaporator coil, refrigerant coils, ductwork and condensing unit these are the main components of HVAC system.
When the thermostat is set to lower temperatures then the evaporator coil is used to cool air. Cooling of air is done by an evaporator coil which is the opposite to the heat exchanger. The evaporator coil is located to the mental enclosure on the furnace’s exterior, to the top or side and also is known to work as an automobile radiator resulting to producing cool air. Not only does cool air circulate in ductworks from the evaporator coil but also it transports warmed or cooled air within the home.
Ducts are made of lightweight aluminum but can be made from steel, fiberglass, fabric and flexible plastic. In a HVAC system the most visible feature is the thermostat which is set on a prominent easily accessible wall. Programming of the thermostat is done either in advance or manually in order to keep the temperature of the home at a desirable rate.
The working of the thermostat is mostly to trigger the evaporator coil to release cool air or the heat exchanger to release warm air to the home. The furnace is the other main component of the HVAC system in which it’s the largest and requires substantial space. Heating a supply of air is the main purpose of the furnace which is then distributed to the various rooms of the home. Combustion, solar energy, electric resistance and heat pump are the main sources of heat that is used in the heating process.
Combustion as a heat source involves burning of natural gas, propane, oil or coal. The location of the heat exchanger is inside the furnace which switches on the furnace when its activated by a thermostat to produce warmer temperatures. The working of the heat exchanger is to draw in cool air, heat the air and circulate the resulted heated air through the ductworks and vents.
A component of the HVAC system that is connected to the evaporator coil and is installed to outside the home is the condensing unit. A refrigerant gas is filled in the condensing unit which is then cooled to a liquid by the heat exchanger then pumped to the evaporator coil to be evaporated to the gas.
